School Visits
All teachers of English will be most welcome to bring their students to the premises of The English Literature Department Ústí Regional Library. Just let us know beforehand and we will agree on the content and the form of our presentation.
There are several programmes you may choose:
GENERAL PRESENTATION: TIME cca 30 – 60 mins
All the services of The English Literature Department including terms and conditions of membership will be presented. However, the crucial part of the presentation is devoted to the stock of the Department. We will go through the resources, the department offers, reflecting learners’ needs and specific language areas they may be interested in. Students will be encouraged to read fiction both in adapted and original version. We always mention the possibility to prepare for and sit internationally recognized examinations in the Library. A variety of preparation materials will be offered including past papers. After the agreement can be projected a short video in English (for teaching purposes).
EXAMS PRESENTATION: TIME cca 30 mins
This presentation is focused on Cambridge Examinations, which are organised in The English Literature Department Ústí Regional Library in cooperation with British Council. At first the students will be informed about these examinations in general and afterwards we can analyse a particular examination, which the students are interested in.
